Raja Psychology uses that professional network in the following situations, unless the patient does not give permission for this:

After registration and/or intake, clear agreements are made at Raja Psychology regarding accessibility and working arrangements from the Basic GGZ. Here it is clearly agreed with patients that they can visit their own GP practice/post during evening/night/weekend/crises. After assessment, the on-call GP could take further steps in the care process.
Raja Psychologie can be reached during office hours, no specific agreements have been made with the mental health crisis service, HAP or A&E.
4. CONTRACTS WITH HEALTH INSURERS
Raja Psychology has contracts with all health insurers in the Netherlands. All treatment trajectories in the General Basic Mental Health Care/Care Performance Model are therefore fully reimbursed by the health insurers. However, it should be taken into account that the treatment conversations will burden the deductible.
For more information regarding contracts with health insurers, reimbursement options and discount options, please contact the administration: administration@rajapsychologie.nl
The rates used at Raja Psychology can be found on the website or in the practice. This applies to both the rate for other (healthcare) products for non-insured care (OVP rate) and the rate for self-payers.
Raja Psychology charges a rate of 50 euros per no-show. This amount is not reimbursed by the health insurer. Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance by email or telephone. Agreements about this are made during intake and the conditions and agreements can also be found in our practice.

8. WAITING TIME FOR INTAKE AND TREATMENT
At Raja Psychology we strive for the shortest possible waiting times. After registration for treatment in the Basic GGZ, intake can usually take place within 1 week, depending on the flexibility of patients in scheduling appointments. The treatment appointments can be scheduled immediately after intake. If there are waiting times, this will be clearly stated on the website. The waiting times will then be updated monthly and will also be available in practice. You can always contact the practice by telephone for current waiting times.
9. REGISTRATION AND INTAKE
At Raja Psychology, the registration procedure is arranged as follows:
The telephone registration is handled by the main practitioner and practice holder Shehzad Raja. After a short explanation regarding registration and request for help, the intake can be scheduled within 1 week. The main practitioner Shehzad Raja is always present at the intake.
A patient can be referred back to the referrer – if possible with appropriate advice – if Raja Psychology does not have a suitable offer for the patient’s request for help.
10. DIAGNOSTICS
The diagnosis for the treatment is made at Raja Psychology by Shehzad Raja, who works as a practice holder/GZ psychologist (9406) within the Generalist Basic Mental Health Care.
11. TREATMENT
At Raja Psychology, the treatment plan is drawn up in consultation with the patient by Shehzad Raja, who works as a practice holder/GZ psychologist (9406) within the Generalist Basic Mental Health Care. The point of contact for the patient during treatment is Shehzad Raja, who works as a practice holder/GZ psychologist (9406) within the Generalist Basic Mental Health Care.
When registering, patients are informed about the person who is the point of contact during the treatment.
After the intake interview, with the patient’s permission, a message may be sent via a secure route (Zorgmail) to the referrer with our findings, diagnosis and treatment plan.
After completion of the treatment process, a message will be sent to the referrer with a summary of treatment and advice regarding follow-up. In the case of longer treatment (> 30 weeks), an interim message may be sent to the referrer regarding the progress of the treatment.
At Raja Psychology, care is taken to ensure good communication with the patient and – if applicable and with the patient’s consent – their next of kin about the course of the treatment. This is done by coming back to the treatment plan at every treatment contact and discussing the progress of the treatment.
The progress of the treatment is monitored at Raja Psychology as follows:
- Treatment plan progress meeting
- Evaluation
- Questionnaires, ROM
12. EVALUATION OF TREATMENT VIA ROM
At Raja Psychology, the progress, efficiency and effectiveness of the treatment are evaluated on the basis of questionnaires (Routine Outcome Monitoring = ROM).
We have an agreement with the Stichting Vrijgevestigden ROM (SVR) for the supply of ROM data to the Benchmark GGZ Foundation (SBG).
At Raja Psychology, the progress, efficiency and effectiveness of the treatment are evaluated periodically and in good time with the patient (and possibly his next of kin). The standard period for this is 10 weeks.
The satisfaction of Raja Psychology’s patients is measured on the basis of evaluation interviews with patients during and at the conclusion of treatment. Questionnaires are also available at our practice for this purpose. The results from the questionnaires will be used to apply improvements and they will also be placed on our website and updated annually.
13. CLOSURE/AFTER CARE
At Raja Psychology, the results of the treatment and possible follow-up steps are discussed with the patient (and possibly his relatives). If necessary, a crisis plan and/or relapse prevention plan will be discussed.
The referrer will be informed of this by means of a closing letter, unless the patient objects to this.
If further treatment is required, specific advice will be given to the referrer. Where necessary, the follow-up practitioner is informed about the course of the treatment and the results obtained are accompanied by follow-up advice, unless the patient objects to this.
DEALING WITH PATIENT
Raja Psychology always asks for the patient’s consent when sharing data with professionals not involved in the treatment.
In situations in which professional secrecy may be breached, the applicable guidelines of the professional group are used for this purpose, including the reporting code for child abuse and domestic violence (in the event of a conflict of duties, suspicion of child abuse or domestic violence), the step-by-step plan for material control and the control plan at the health insurer. is requested (for material control).
At Raja Psychology, the privacy statement is used if the patient does not want to make his diagnosis known to his health insurer/DIS.
